Hi! I am a Ph.D. student on Computer Science at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications (UoP) under the supervision of Prof. Christos Tryfonopoulos and member of SODA.Lab. I am also a research assistant in the Information Management Systems Institute (IMSI) of “Athena” Research Center as a member of the Department of Distributed and Web Information Systems since June 2014.

I graduated from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications (UoA) in 2012 and I received my masters diploma in Computer Engineering from the same department in 2015.

I was involved in a number of National (Greek SRT) and European projects including OpenAIRE-Advance, BiP! finder, SlideWiki, Diana-Tools, LODGOV and AI4B.

Research Interests

My main research interests lie in the area of Information Retrieval and I seek problems related to semantic search and keyword searching in graph databases. Other research interests include privacy preservation and especially privacy-preserving data publishing as well as bioinformatics and big data management.
